Keep 'em short and sweet
I already wrote about concision recently, but I've been continuing to notice a strong temptation to write longer posts, as if the value I get from writing these posts and the value you get from reading them is directly proportional to word count and reading time.
I really need to internalize that the point of this blog (and good writing in general) is not to write a lot: it's to practice thinking clearly and writing clearly.
I don't win points for taking longer to say things, I lose them.
Shorter is better. Less is more. And I need to keep 'em short and sweet.
